Eric1231
I am looking at going to a 2011 platform for 3 gun and uspsa limited. The gun would be a 9 mm used mostly for 3 gun. What are the pro's and cons of a sight tracker? What are the pros and cons of 5" vs 5.4 vs 6.0 gun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wgj3
Some would argue that the 5" is quicker. I think that 3gun is more about getting hits and thus believe that the 6" sight radius helps greatly in getting quicker hits on more challenging targets. As far as "tracker" or not, having the front sight move less makes it easier to track in recoil. I think this is more helpful in USPSA/IPSC, but it shouldn't hurt anything in 3gun. The biggest issue is managing the weight of a 6" 9mm ribbed barrel...
woof
Combine the mouse fart 9mm load and the front sight on the barrel my 9mm limited gun is just plain fun to shoot. According to some that have shot it..... it is wrong on so many levels..... woof
sbo76
The 6" guns feel sluggish to me so I had a 5.4" built. Cameron custom removed weight everywhere and the problem was solved. They point different so if you shoot multiple platforms I would have a consistent length. I don't have any expierence with a sight tracker but would note very few if any of the top shooters use them.
