Kurusty
I would like to get a 6" barrel for my 627 limited gun and don't know where to find one. Can someone please chime in if you know where or who to contact. Thank you.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Kurusty
If rather buy it from a more reliable source, plus I'm not sure which barrels are compatible. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk The problem is, very few are really making them. You can find model 27 barrels off ebay and fit them to your gun. Or, you can go full custom with gunsmiths like : http://pinnaclehighperformance.com/ http://clarkcustomguns.com/ http://bcarmory.com/
VanMan1961
I slugged my 929 barrel at .356" which I believe is the same dia as the 627? If it is, you could just throw one of those on.

O just looked at pinnacle and BC and really liked what I saw and read. 357454
I have one of the few 6 1/2" guns and really like the extra sight radius. If the 929 barrel is long enough to fi into a 627 it would be a great option. A second option would be to find a 6" barrel from a model 27 or 28, the locking bolt would need to be modified or a yoke mounted detent installed. Gregg K
I bought this 6.5" barrel from Gunbroker and mounted it to one of my 627's. The barrel was made for an Outdoorsman and was brand new in the box. As mentioned above, a model 27 will work too. The 27 would be a little thinner. Kurusty
Thanks for all of your input, I really appreciate it. I talked to Bruce at BC Armory this afternoon and I'm going to send it to him so he can make it like the one in this picture. I took this picture from his Facebook page. I had a really good conversation with him and he was very helpful.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/57eb147a8e6ba/FB_IMG_1475023582375.jpg?Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
GMM50
Bruce souped up a 617 10 shot for me. Excellent results.

Kurusty
He said that it was for short Colt and 38 wadcutters only. I won't be doing that to mine though.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
revoman
I did that to mine and I put a 38 super. 356 barrel on it with a built in compensator and popple holes. 38 short colt only.
Kurusty
He asked me if I wanted to do something like that also. I really just want to stick with limited for now, this way I can still use it for USPSA and ICORE. I've got a month to think about it, so you never know, especially since i have an extra cylinder that is cut for super and 9mm...Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
