78Staff Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 (edited) No issues loading up a full magazine with Sig Sauer FMJ 180gr 10mm, 1.250 OAL... which doesn't help you at all since it's OAL is shorter than both your numbers, but just wanted to followup on the earlier post. noylj Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 (edited) Per SAAMI, 10mm Auto COL for industry ammunition is 1.240-1.260", so if your ammunition doesn't meet this, they are outside SAAMI tolerances. So, if some exceed 1.260", tell the manufacturer. If they don't exceed 1.260", contact Colt and complain that the magazine(s) won't accept SAAMI length ammunition. valerko Posted November 15, 2016 Author Share Posted November 15, 2016 I was told I can't run hot 10mm thru Colt , because it doesn't have full ramped barrel.
