AUS Barrel in SP01

Is the Australian length barrel CZC puts in their Australian Shadow legal in SSP. This same barrel is available on CZ-USA website for purchase.

This barrel is put in an Aus version gun to meet minimum barrel lengths down under. What I don't know is since this barrel is a different configuration than stock is it legal? Or is this a stock barrel?

Rule  8.2.1.3.11 Replacement of barrel with one of factory configuration that uses the original cartridge

And the Clarification on this

Quote

For SSP, Rifling and finish may be different than the factory barrel. The other factors like caliber, length, the way it fits and operates in the gun must be the same. If the factory barrel did not have a threaded barrel, then the replacement can not have a threaded barrel. See rule 8.2.1.3.11.

Since the length of barrel is greater than stock on all 75b series guns, I struggle to determine if the Australian variant of the CZ75B SP01 Shadow is a CZC modified gun or a stock european variant there for legal.
Is the AUS 75B's a stock variant or a variant produced by sources other than CZUB or CZ-USA?

Oh, so I found the clarification question and response and the answer is right there:

Question is Related To

Equipment Rules

Specific Rule (Section

8.2.1.3.11

Question About Current Rule

What constitutes "factory configuration" for an SSP replacement barrel? Same manufacturer as the original barrel (in original caliber)? Third party manufacturer in same caliber? What if the rifling is different from the original manufacturer? Example would be replacing a Glock 9mm barrel with a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel (same length). Would that put the Glock in ESP?

IDPA Response

For SSP, Rifling and finish may be different than the factory barrel. The other factors like caliber, length, the way it fits and operates in the gun must be the same. If the factory barrel did not have a threaded barrel, then the replacement can not have a threaded barrel. See rule 8.2.1.3.11.

So if you get called on it at a major match, and you can't produce documenation that you actually bought an Australian SP01 with that barrel originally in it :) then it's not legal.

Will you get called? Meh, probably not.
