Dad
Would an older Black Ops be suitable for Single Stack? What mags would you recommend? Thanks
Anopsis
Absolutely, as long as it's a traditional single stack (non-widebody) single action, and not LDA. Of course, I don't think they even MADE the Black Ops in LDA, but it's worth noting that USPSA does not recognize it as a 1911. For the average shooter, it's hard to go wrong with Wilson Combat 47D mags. There's not many of us that still shoot Paras around here! HCH
Yes, and I've always had good luck with chip McCormick mags.
Al Capizzo
I've been shooting a Para single stack .40 off and on for 2 years, and it is a very nice gun. I'm using the Wilson 47-D magazines, In this particular gun the McCormick mags function fine but don't always drop out cleanly.
