HerdThinner
I adjusted the gas block on my JP gas block but am having a time locking the set screw. Any advice.
JWS_61
On similar gas blocks I have purchased an extended length stainless steel set screw that was long enough to run a jamb nut on it to keep it in place. I know some guys run lock tight on this set screw as well. Hope this helps. Jeff
rboyes
Use a little green or blue loctite to keep the screw in place.
outerlimits
Use a little green or blue loctite to keep the screw in place. green is almost permanent...stick with blue.
HerdThinner
So I found at lowes a 3 inch long 1/16 inch Allen key. I tighten the set screw but it doesn't really secure the gas block screw. I think the blue lock right to stop it from vibrating out is needed.
