VP9 Production mods

My wife decided to shoot VP9 in Production, and I find the trigger to be quite heavy, so what mods, if any, has anyone done to that gun?

I installed the HKParts ultimate match spring set. Trigger wouldn't reset. Dropped the TRS, and it works fine with just the sear spring replaced. The result is a slightly better trigger. Then I installed the stainless recoil assembly, and the gun runs great, but I can't disassemble it. Something is catching when I try to slide the slide forward and off.

I had Bill Springfield work on a VP9 and later had the match parts installed. It started with a trigger in the 6# range and now it has a smooth trigger in the 4# range.

I am using the spring set, the stainless recoil rod and a hk parts threaded barrel. Was a breeze to install and I like it much better than factory. I am a new competitor so take this for what it's worth.

I installed the match spring kit and did not care for it. The trigger is slow returning to reset. I did the same thing as IDescribe and left the match sear spring and installed the stock trigger return spring. I have heard good things about Gray Guns trigger job for the VP9.

Send it to Lazy Wolf guns. Rick does amazing trigger jobs on all HK pistols.

I think it would benefit with a longer, weaker recoil spring
