Flatland Shooter
Anyone know of a company that rents out a Glock compatible sight tool. I hate to spend a small fortune for a tool that will most likely be used only once. I plan to install a replacement set of Trijicon night sights so don't really want to use a hammer and drift. Thanks. Bill
bradsteimel
A lot of gun stores like Gander Mountain… Will have a pseudo-gunsmith that does that type of things. I once had my Glock sights replaced, and I think they only charged about $10. So that's about the same price that you might rent that tool for. Might be an option… Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Philip Dedmon
Same here, check with you local gun ship. I know my guys install Glock sights and have all the correct tools to do it.
dapribek
Local shop here also only charges $10, but they also just use a hammer! You can actually hear the gunsmith whacking your gun! Does great work though!
wav3rhythm
I broke down and bought a tool. I got my money out of it pretty quickly pushing sights on for friends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ToddKS
The Glock sight tool is the same size as the tiny screws that hold the control module in a Whirlpool dishwasher. There is not enough room for a socket to fit. Without it my family would still be washing dishes by hand. More Glock perfection. Buy once, cry once. You never know when you may need it again. 9x45
Flatland, you don't need to rent one, or pay a gun store. There must be plenty of Glock shooters at your USPSA club that would do it for free. I have installed hundreds of sets at the range, course I'm a little far from Conroe. I have the old MGW pusher sold by Brownells, and several of the little front sight tools. Edited January 24, 2016 by 9x45
