Intercooler2
I'm hoping to go in the morning for the second time. Nothing but powder-puff FMJ this time and I couldn't get a Grand Power reduced recoil spring for this try. They were out of stock and I couldn't cross it over to something in the Wolff springs yet. Kingman
CZ springs. Clips coils until it closes.
Intercooler2
Which model? They have so many different ones including 1911's.
Kingman
CZ 75 springs. This was all covered in the original GP Thread. If you read through that we have discussed springs weights and lengths.
Intercooler2
I'm not fond of cutting springs down. I would rather find a similar sizing that comes in different weights without cutting so I can replace them when needed.
Rick Stone
Like the man said....get the spring and cut it till it works. Not rocket science, and based on results...the slide closing, it's repeatable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Intercooler2
Okay. I think I found something that will work.
Kingman
Springs are same diameter. Different lengths.
Intercooler2
Another failed outing running these ammos: Totally locked up again and I had to free it + do a tear-down and cleaning. https://www.facebook.com/206257602745613/videos/980734855297880/?theater Edited January 3, 2016 by Intercooler2

valerko
Put alittle lube on the end of the barrel ,right by the breech . I use froglube and everytime I clean a gun , put little lube on locking lug and breech end .
PalmBeach1
Put alittle lube on the end of the barrel ,right by the breech . I use froglube and everytime I clean a gun , put little lube on locking lug and breech end . I seem to remember Patrick Kelley made mention of this in his out of the box video on this gun. P.E. Kelley
Yes I did! Glad someone is watching and paying attention to them! Thanks!
valerko
Don't give up. I was in your shoes. Liked the pistol but couldn't get it running 100% with my reloads. Once I got springs and reloads figures out everything was smooth sailing from that point. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
Intercooler2
I'm not yet. I have been using lube liberally on the entire barrel, slide and frame. I will put more on the breech end and get some weaker springs to try in it as well.
Intercooler2
9,10,11 and 12lb springs have been ordered to try in the 3rd session. Fingers are crossed these changes will make a difference.
