PHX
Im building a new rifle for the 2016 season. Last part is the adjustable gas block. I wanted to get a Syrac since I have heard nothing but good things about them. I came across the Seekins low profile block and have heard good things. The price point is attractive as well. I was wondering if anyone with experience with either of these blocks could lend some help on the topic. I will be using the 15" MI ss gen 2 hand guard on a 16" barrel with mid length gas. Seekins : http://www.seekinsprecision.com/seekins-precision-low-profile-adjustable-gas-block-750-dia.html Syrac : http://www.syracordnance.com/collections/gas-blocks/products/gen-ii-750-adjustable-low-pro-solid-gas-block Thanks! reptoid
While either of those will work, I much prefer the SLR as I feel it's a better design. Adjustable from the front, no set screw to mess with, distinctive clicks, and easy to clean if necessary. I've been using them on several rifles for a couple years. http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_103_104&product_id=

DBTN
I am also building a new rifle for the 2016 season. The gas block is one of the last parts I still have to order. Based on my research here on Enos, I plan on an SLR gas block. I have played with the Seekins. It is nice but don't like the set screw placement. Would rather not have to deal with a set screw. Garmil
I'm cheap and don't care about having the popular brands. My parallax tactical adjustable block works great. Adjust from the front only with a standard screw no detent so more adjustable and is very lightweight.

DEP44
My Syrac adjusts from the front (long hex included). Settings are repeatable through clicks.
v1911
Another vote for the SLR.
Stlhead
Tried all of the blocks listed. Prefer the JP. But I am a mutant. I like the set screw and the way it adjusts. If the Seekins adjusted from the front I would like it just as much. I don't need no clicks, once set I leave the gas back alone till the barrel is toast and get a new block when I rebarrel, but I use the same load, and only suppress bolt guns. Different strokes! Any of them work, buy whatever suits your fancy, it's a gas block, not a girlfriend.
MarkCO
Agree that the SLR is a better choice. The MicroMOA is another one to look at.
P.E. Kelley
Odin works is another option Just got an Odin yesterday! Looks to be well thought out and click adjustable and cleanable and about 80 bucks!
