Choices, Choices

Man it's hard to choose which barrel to get. Long story short I got a 16 inch stainless middy that turned out to be bad and returned it. Now I just can't seem to decide on a brand to trust. I was looking at a 16 inch Stainless Ranier Brownell's has that has a 1 MOA guarantee but then I see they are actually made by Black Hole? Looks like the same barrel is available direct but no stated guarantee on accuracy. Another choice in the same price range is a White Oak 16 inch Stainless and google fu seems to say they are good.

I keep thinking 16 inch to be handy as I plan on building a long range upper sometime later. But then I think what am I giving up going 16 over the 18 inch. I guess what I am looking for is a short very accurate barrel. Anything I should look at in the $250 range that I am overlooking? For the 55 to 70 grain would the 1:8 be better or would the 1:7 twist? I am thinking the 223 Wylde chamber.
