IMT, FM, and Ammoload headstamps have an interior ledge that can be problematic for 1050s.

Headstamps marked LY, CV(sp?) on the left and right of the primer are Chinese made and of unknown quality. A-Merc is also no good.

Iirc, gfl is the same as fiocchi, cbc is ok, and tulabrass is also ok.

Try some searches for head stamps in the reloading section of the forum. There are several threads with some pretty comprehensive lists.

Those junk brass with the internal ledge also have been known to separate at said kedge and get stuck in the chamber

I have noticed that GFL doesn't havent the primer pocket centered uniformly sometimes. I still load them though for practice and local matches, seems to be decent brass. I also load Tula, CBC, Fiocchi, PPU, etc.

The only ones I scrap are the ones with the internal ledge like Ammoload and IMT. Also Crap AMERC and the Chinese LY stuff.

I've also been noticing a lot of new headstamps...Tulaammo, perfecto, IMI...I toss anything with the internal ledge and put all the othe weird ones in a separate bin for Minor loads...

IMI is good brass (as opposed to IMT which is not).
