Hammer1
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World include the Great Pyramid in Egypt, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. Probably should include the Great Wall of China. And Noah's Ark. The Seven Wonders of the Modern World would definitely include the Colt SAA Peacemaker, the 1911, the 1898 Mauser, and the Dillon 1050. What have I missed ? Guest
The transistor, indoor plumbing, air conditioning, and thermonuclear weapons. I'd probably put the 450/550 as a wonder in place of the 1050. the 450/550 is what started it all, the rest are refinements. Way better (and less painful) than loading on a Star, although some may not agree.
BeltFed
My first Dillon is a 400. Had to slap a primer bar and powder charge bar with each stroke of the handle and rotation of the shell plate, but it beat a Rock Chucker. I must be old. Steve RA
First complete press was the RL 1000. At least, according to Mr. Dillon.
Hammer1
The RL 1000 is a clear ancestor of the 1050.
