DWNZRO
This year I wanted to step up my game and shoot as many sanctioned IDPA matches in my area as possible. Well the first one was this past weekend, the Arkansas State IDPA Champtionship. I came away with a 1st place finish in ESP MM (out of 8 shooters) with a bump to SS! I also placed 1st overall MM out of 30 other shooters. For the first time, I felt like I shot at about 95% of my ability with no mental errors. I had 0 hits on non-threats and 0 procedurals. Hard work and practice do pay off! I also plan to shoot Illinois State, Missouri State, Kansas State and possibly Iowa State this year. Although it will be much more difficult to place now that I'm SS, I'm extremely happy to be there.

DWNZRO
Ha thanks! I just started shooting USPSA last year so I'm still unclassified. I would like to at least get classified this year, then maybe split my time between IDPA and USPSA next year.
dynamicalflinch
That's awesome. Shooting a solid match is a great feeling. Like hitting a perfect golf shot, you know it can be done and keep chasing it. Its the hiccups that make us keep trying harder, even as they become less frequent.
