PatJones
I would warn against 9mm in USPSA unless you are getting A hits with speed on a regular basis. However if you can get the speed and stay accurate, it is a fine choice.. If you're not regularly getting A's, you're probably not cleaning the steel in one shot either. There is a potential benefit to 10 rounds of minor scoring, and I think that potential benefit is even bigger to shooters in the lower classifications. gearguywb
I have shot both the Trojan and Para SS' quite a bit. Either will do what you need them to. Both will require a bit of work to truly make them a "competitive" pistol. One of the nice features on the Trojan is the flat topped slide. One of the nice features on the Para is the checkered front strap. I shot both with ammo loaded long, 1.180, in 10mm mags.
kimberacp
Trojan has standard extractor the Para has the PARA extractor. no big deal I went with the Para only because of the front strap checkering and the 100 dollar rebate, at the time. again the only thing that bother me, was the MS pin holes not lining up.
