Brassaholic13
Any opinions on the GunCraft or Fusion triggers for Para? http://www.ebay.com/itm/261708667597 http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80000C42-1388518150
theKenny
I've used the Guncraft above and it removed all the slop. after fitting of course. Will probably move to the guncraft Flat trigger at some point.
ParaGunner
I have the Guncraft long flat trigger and really like it. It will require fitting, but that's a good thing.
telecat
I've had the GunCraft long flat for a many years in my p16-40. Works flawlessly. Just got the same for my new pro comp 18.9. I like flat triggers so the are the only game in town.
Brassaholic13
http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/trigger-group-parts/trigger-parts/triggers/semi-auto-ultra-light-triggers-prod5767.aspx There's also the Dlask, but it's getting some mixed reviews... One guy says it's slick as snot, another says it's gritty as sand... Truth is somewhere in between?
ParaGunner
It all depends on how well the triggers are fitted.
Jeff Matzka
http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/trigger-group-parts/trigger-parts/triggers/semi-auto-ultra-light-triggers-prod5767.aspx There's also the Dlask, but it's getting some mixed reviews... One guy says it's slick as snot, another says it's gritty as sand... Truth is somewhere in between? I had the Dlask for a season, and it did feel gritty. It was fit well, but I found there to be a bit of flex in the bow that caused the outside of the bow to expand slightly and rub against the frame. Too bad because I really like the shape of the trigger. Put a stiffer bow on it and it would be a winner for me. Running the Guncraft in it now. EasyTargetRN
Fitted a Fusion in my SA1911. Required a fair amount of filing/polishing to get it smooth , but it is very consistent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CyclicRate
No experience with the Fusion, but I fitted a GunCraft for my Pro Custom 18.9 and I love it. Only took 30 minutes with some fine grit sandpaper. It's a huge improvement over the wobbly stock plastic trigger.
SHARPPOINT
With a bit of fitting the GC trigger is very sweet in the Pro Custom 9mm
Griz44
I went the Guncraft route as well. It took about 30 minutes and a little off the top to get a good fit. I spent another 15 minutes doing some red rouge polishing in the tunnel. End result is a great trigger. The PARA plastic POS was the worst trigger I had ever seen in a 1911, including the all plastic Korean built 22 my son hauled in wanting me to fix it. So I dropped the slide off of it and dropped it in the trash can. He wasn't impressed with my smithing skills on that one.
telecat
That factory trigger is a POS! It's way undersized and flopped around too much. That said I saw a pic of Travis Tomasi's trigger and he used JB weld to build a flat trigger using the undersized one as a base to build up . I may try that sometime . What else would I do with it? It's worthless as it is.. Lol..
Glockster35
I recently bought the Dlask trigger for my BlackOps Para double stack. It did take some fitting, and I don't find it to be gritty at all. As others have said, I think it is all in how well it is fitted. I will be buying both the GunCrafters and Fusion triggers eventually to see what one I like best. But I am in no rush at this point. Glockster35
Guncraft installed and I love the fit. Sure it took a bit of work, but is far better than the factory trigger, and is better than the Dlask.
fishpinoy27
I just bought an SVI / Infinity Billet ttrigger with removable shoe insert. Minor adjustment is all you need.
Glockster35
Can you provide a link to the SVI trigger and explain what needs to be done to fit it? This is the first I have read of it actually being possible.
telecat
I'm interested too. There is a guy on a FB page I saw that put a SVI trigger shoe on a Para bow so now he's running the insert trigger. I'd be interested in modifying a SVI trigger to work.
ParaGunner
Supposedly the Sv billet triggers work in Para wide body's without switching bows.
telecat
Ok! That's good news. I like my guncraft but would love to try the svi
Glockster35
Anyone got a link to the SVI trigger that we are discussing? I want to get one ordered so I can try it.

Glockster35
What specifically needs to be done to the SVI trigger to get it to fit?
ParaGunner
From what I've read, you just have to spend $70 on the trigger and insert then fit it like a normal trigger.
