crucker
Well this is the start of our USPSA range. I will add pics as we go. It will only let me add one file per post due to size. This range is at Briar Rabbit Shooting Sports in Zanesville Ohio. We are working with ranges around us so shooters will have a place to shoot almost every weekend around ohio. PKT1106
What is your overall plan? How many bays (enough to host bigger matches)? Shoot house? Any building facilities? When are you planning to be up and running?
crucker
We will be running in march. Right now five bays. We have plenty of room for more later. They range from 24-80 feet wide. 20 yds deep with room to add. Just don't have enough wall blocks yet.

PKT1106
Is it going to be a wall block with a dirt mound over top?
crucker
Yes we are building block walls, then mounding dirt up the sides. This will give us good anchor points for movers and we won't have to take up as much area with dirt mounds to build berm walls.
PKT1106
Awesome. Might have to make a trip next summer.
crucker
Well weather is slowing us down. Waiting on it to freeze up some. No reason to make a bigger mess than we are trying to fix. Hope to get back at it next week.
Bill Nesbitt
Looks good. This is on an off Sunday for us. We'll probably check it out.
crucker
Looks good. This is on an off Sunday for us. We'll probably check it out. We took the two closest ranges to us and stayed away from their shoots. We travel and shoot also, so this still lets us get to other ranges and shoot. PKT1106
Thank you, Bill. I was just making sure everything was still the same to put on the wall calender. Edited January 7, 2015 by PKT1106
PKT1106
What is the squadding going to be? Everyone there at a certain time? Squads going off at intervals? What is your match fee estimated to be?
crucker
What is the squadding going to be? Everyone there at a certain time? Squads going off at intervals? What is your match fee estimated to be? Still working this all out. We do flights on our sporting clay course with online registration. That is what I am leaning towards. I know we will have set times, as we are going to have an RO that stays with the stage. Price will be compared to market so I would guess 20.00. All the dates are as listed on facebook and website. As soon as I get everything back from USPSA we will be setting up an RO class if anyone is interested. We are doing it to train our RO's but will have it open to the public as well. PKT1106
Sounds great. Anxious to get shooting. You're as close to me as the clubs in PGH and it looks like you fill a gap every month. PM'd you about the RO class, too. Thank you very much.
crucker
I started a new thread for the RO class. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=208475&hl= We have about 25 spots for this class.
