2011 with no grip safety

Does anyone make a 2011-style grip with no grip safety? Seems like guns and grips with no grip safety would be cheaper to produce, and have fewer moving parts. Also seems like a number of people who compete deactivate their grip safeties, so there may be a market for it.

Glock .......

M&P .........

:goof: Sorry I couldn't resist. It wouldn't be a 1911 / 2011 without the grip safety. Besides the grip safety adds 1 part - the grip safety held in by the thumb safety.

Wouldnt save any money and would most likely be more money to produce. You need the opening from the grip safety to install the trigger bow itself and sear and disco. Also how would you install the sear spring if you had solid grip saftety. Not much difference with just deactivating and pinning thr safety

Infinity Firearms makes a non-pivoting billet grip safety
