Sandbagger123
I got a couple of 140 mm SV tubes with my gun. I want to build them up to be legal on the gauge. Would like to get the max capacity also. My only other mags are STI brazo tuned with SNL base plate. They don't make the gauge. please recommend a good combo floor plate and guts that will get me max capacity while staying legal Thanks
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am guessing the tubes you have are for a 40. If you use Bolen followers and springs (TTI now) and a Grams 2.5mm base pad or a Dawson base pad you should fit the gauge, just check before a big match. I have also use Dawson "SNL" base pads and Grams 4mm but had to trim a little off the back of the tube lips. The SVI mags if done right will hold 21 rounds reloadable. At least mine do. GForceLizard
Go to Taran Tactical Innovations, select STI/SV and then followers. TTI has a guide on that page.
CAB33
Bolen 3mm w. Bolen spring and follower equals an easy 21+1.

andy27al
I personally like the Dawson bases as they do not require tools to take on and off. That is a benefit during a match when you need a quick mag scrub after tossing one in the dirt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DRobson
TTI guts and pads. The pads are easy to take off and less bulky than the dawsons. I get 21+1 in sti tubes.

I prefer the size of the TTI vs the blocky Dawson's too.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: The Dawson base pads are less likely to bend when they land on a rock. I had another brand base pad that bent and could not be removed. I had to use a wooden dowel from the inside to straighten out the dent so it could be slid off. I like the base pads that come straight off instead of sliding off the tangs. Thanks, Eric
Rob1125
I've had good luck with the SVI Ultra Competition guts with my SVI tubes.
