Sarge
Stolen from the car? Never, ever, leave your guns in the car at a major match! Also, a very good idea to get some insurance on your toys! It's cheaper than buying new guns.

Any chance you have serial numbers and/or identifying marks...I see now. Those will stick out like a sore thumb in any counter around Bham, AL. Maybe... JakeMartens
They were traveling to the Gator Classic and stopped in Gardendale, there were other vehicles that were broken into in the same parking lot.
cajunautoxer
That sucks. Doesn't car insurance cover theft
peterthefish
That sucks. Doesn't car insurance cover theft Nope. This would fall under homeowners, and firearms are generally sublimited to $2,500 or some other nominal amount unless scheduled, much like jewelry. DrawandDuck
Hopefully they were members of NRA and had activated the free $2,500 insurance........my homewoners covered $3,500 ($4,500 less $1,000 deductable). I wasn't aware of the limit, must have a rider to cover any amounts over your policy limit. Pain in the ass dealing wih ins. company as I had to provide receipts for everyting.... JakeMartens
Depending on insurance company, I am thru usaa and have a separate policy for firearms, each firearm, range bag, mags, even belts and holsters and hearing protection. Covers theft, damage, water, fire, even if lost due to airlines. Stolen from a car or hotel room, in my drive way, or house, basically anywhere I am at. I have a range bag with two custom built limited guns, 11 tuned hi cap mags, pro ears, prescription shooting glasses, belt, holster and mag pouches, about $10k worth of stuff. I also have my reloading equipment and components listed on my home owners in case of theft or lost. You are crazy not to have this, I am not in position to replace any of this that I have accumulated over time if lost or stolen. MVPFc
Thank you for the share! Guns and products are fully insured. So we will be reimbursed. The bad part is that both guns belong to a junior shooter who was very attached to them.
