kmca
Unless you need enough to run your own matches, talk to the Range Master at your local club. You should be able to get a box of targets for a reasonable price. If you're not that picky, you might even be able to get targets that were used for no shoots. Hopefully, they won't have too many holes.
b1gcountry
Used targets are also great for practice. You can usually walk away with 50 targets from the match around here.
copecowboy22
I can get all the cardboard I want at work. I just cut out a template of the scoring lines and spray paint the cardboard.
GOF
You can greatly extend the life of a practice target by using a razor knife to cut out the 0 or A Zone... flip the target on its face... and then tape a piece of cardboard on the back to cover the hole (you can cut them from beer or soda 12 to 24 can packs). The 0/A Zone is what (hopefully) gets the heck shot out of it and trashes the target. When that gets shot up, pull that and tape a fresh sheet in its place. I can run one of these targets 300-400 rounds before it is toast. If you can pick up a dozen 'not too shot up' targets at your next match you've got enough targets for a month's practice -- until the next match. when you can get some more 'not too shot up' targets. b1gcountry
I have a bunch of A / C zone areas printed put on 11" x 14" printer paper. I use spray adhesive to tack them over top of the targets for a new scoring zone. That gives you a white scoring zone though. I think i like GOF's idea better! zjmccauley
I make my own targets out of 1x2's, peg board and poster board. Pay 10 bucks for several months of my own stands and paper
