Sarge
We are retiring our Hammock due to space constraints. It is not the woven kind. It is a solid like quilt material with traditional rope ends and hangs from a frame. It is pretty big. I was wondering if it could be used for "gun on the table" type start. Probably have to rest one leg on the ground for some stability. I also came accross an ammo crate yesterday at work. It's not too big. Probably about 24" long. Thoughts on either? GrumpyOne
Use them! As long as the shooter doesn't have his weapon on him in the hammock, then go for it. It should be quite funny watching people try and get outta one fast! I've always thought about a rocking chair start, where the shooter has to be rocking back and forth to a certain degree (easy to put a set of contacts on the front and rear portions of the rocker to light a bulb, so that everyone gets the same motion). Sometimes the buzzer will go off whenthe chair is forward, sometimes when it is back. Think that would be interesting.
Flexmoney
Rocking chair start: http://www.youtube.com/flexmoney#p/u/11/QIQiAh74ESo The arms on that chair were pretty tight for the gun belt and gear.
