So I’m about to pull the trigger on my first open style pistol. It is used and comes with the SIG Romeo 3 Max 6 moa. I was originally planning on getting the Aluminum body 8 moa C-MORE Slide Ride for steel challenge and eventually other competitions. Does anyone have experience with both dots? What are the pro’s & cons on each and which would you prefer for competition?

Hi there! Is it true that Eotech is coming up with a new mini sight dot? Anyone please share any information on the new Eotech EFLX? Is already available? Any good place to purchase? Pre-order? Thanks

Hi All, I've been looking into inexpensive night vision optics (sub $1000) and I repeatedly see the ATN X-Sight II "Smart Riflescope" popping up. Does anyone here have any actual hands-on experience with this optic? Thanks!

As a part of my ongoing divisional tour of USPSA, I'm in the process of setting up a carry optics gun. Before I set up a Glock 17 gen 5 with one of my trusty RMRs, or join the dark side and use a 320, I thought I would solicit a few opinions on the best red dot for carry optics. I like and am relatively familiar with the RMR platform, and would use this for self defense, but the lack of dot clarity, blue lens tint, and small field of view is a bit off-putting. I'm seeing a lot of Leupold delta point pros showing up in competition lately, I like the glass quality, and lack of blue lens tint, but have concerns on battery life. Max Michel is having a great deal of success with the Sig optics Romeo 01 (but he's Max Michel), and I like the field of view, but not the biggest fan of the blue tint. Vortex optics has a great reputation and I run a lot of their optics on my more practical rifles. Their warranty is second to none, quality is always good, and I like the Razor I have as a side mount on one of my rifles. All that said I have very little hands on time with the venom, or viper. Any feedback anyone has on what you choose to use and why, or notable issues on the others would be appreciated. Thanks for your time all.

Ok Shooters. I am Larry Garland. I am one of the owners of an online sporting goods shop. We recently passed up the Nightforce brand. I am looking at selling my Nightforce scopes and move into a brand we are a dealer for. one of the models i have is a ATACR, along with the NSX and so forth. I know i am going to get a lot of opinions bur what i am looking for is facts. What scopes on the market are comparable to the Nightforce ATACR? I would like to stay with in the brands we have. I was looking at the Sightron SV as an example. Thank you for your input. Larry Garland

Looking to get into 3 gun, just bought a Rugar AR556 for a great price and was wondering what optics would be a good match without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance

I am new to competitive shooting. I have shot in a few local matches and am now hooked. For my rifle setup, I have been using a red dot, but would like to get a 1-4x or 1-6x scope for those longer ranges. Will using a scope bump me up into "open" division? Or can I stay down where I need to be. Also, could use some recommendations on a decent scope for around $300 or so. I can afford higher but I cannot justify the higher prices at my shooting level, yet. Thanks for any and all help.
