  1. Hey guys, Our department's competitive shooting team is hosting Cinco De Plinko, a big fundrasing event at ETTS Range on May 8th. ETTS is just south of Dallas. The match will consist of 6 stages. All firearms, ammo and a lunch will be provided. Staccato will be on site and providing all the pistols. Lantac USA will be onsite as well providing all of the rifles. Both these companies will have demo bays set up as well. Other firearm companies will be at the range as well. We will also have a helicopter at the range so you will have the opportunity to go up for a flight and do some aerial shooting. Match starts at 0900 and will be wrapped up by 1300. Vendors will be at the range till 1700. Search Mansfield or ETTS on Practiscore to register.

  5. Hey all, I was wondering how (basic rundown, I guess) do the USPSA matches go? I haven't done one yet, but there is one coming up on May 7th that I'm planning on shooting for the first time. However, I have really been trying to do my best to read up on everything I can about USPSA and major and minor and all that jazz. LOL! I'm planning on shooting .40 Major in the Limited Division (so it was suggested to me, so I didn't have to worry about mag changes as much and such my first time out). A few questions from my reading posts are... I've read about being classed or classes...how do you get classed or know what class you are in your first time out? Do they just let you shoot and then rank you in a class based on how you shoot/do? I've heard people talk about being on a squad or squadding...who picks these? How are they sorted? Do you have to put together a squad yourself? You don't all shoot at the same time, right? Do you all shoot one right after another as a squad/team or ??? Do your scores and such get based on how well the entire squad/team does or how you do individually? Now I'm afraid that if I tank my run it will ruin someone else's day and I realllllly don't want to do that. I know that the entire match is setup in stages. Normally how many "stages" are there in a typical match/day? I guess, in short, how many times do you go up and shoot? Do you shoot the same course X amounts of times per day or does the course change throughout the day so that it is different each time you go up to shoot? I'm sure those are enough questions to drive everyone nuts for now. LOL Sorry.
  6. I'm looking for any information on shooting clubs in or around Tyler TX. Also if there is USPSA, IDPA, or 3 gun where is it and what day? I'm also curious of regular ranges for general practice if they are around. Thanks for the help.
  7. I did a search through the forums and couldn't find any similar topics. It was brought to my attention by a couple of our club members that they are not seeing their individual results when they log into their dashboard on the Practiscore website, but they can find their results on the match results page. I logged in and found the same issue. When I select 'View All' under my Recent Matches, the last match entered for me was in August 2015. However, I have several match results since then and can find them when looking for a specific match or specific club. The last match under my home club to link to my Dashboard was June 2015. Since this is happening, I have a couple of questions. 1) Since I am the one that runs Practiscore at our club and uploads results to Practiscore, is there something that changed with Practiscore around June 2015 that would have prevented the scores from recognizing individuals? I haven't changed our procedure for scoring or uploading in that time. 2) Is there a way to "link" results to individuals? Can someone go into the match results and associate their name and results with their individual profile? Thanks, Cameon
