Hi guys, I am wondering what is the most reliable red dot for an open gun?

I have been having extractor problems with my 9mm Trubor Open gun... The overwhelming advice I got was to install an Aftec extractor, so I did... I carefully fitted the firing pin stop per the Aftec instructions... After that, I installed the Aftec extractor with two of the small springs... It shot well for about 150 rounds, then started to jam again... Checking the tension on the Aftec, it turned out to be quite loose... I was surprised to find that because I thought the two springs would provide plenty of tension... I rounded the edges of the firing pin stop to make sure the Aftec could rotate enough to grab the case, but that does not seem to be happening... Is it ever necessary to bend an Aftec extractor to provide enough tension?

I'm looking for any information on shooting clubs in or around Tyler TX. Also if there is USPSA, IDPA, or 3 gun where is it and what day? I'm also curious of regular ranges for general practice if they are around. Thanks for the help.

So at the last major 3 gun match I had some trouble knocking down poppers at 25 yds with my pistol, this have caused me to reconsider the load im shooting. So i ran my current loads over the chrono and they are quit a bit slower than expected, currently im shooting X-treme 147s at about 800 fps, which puts me at a power factor just above 115 anyone here loading for 3 gun? if so what are you shooting? since I dont have to meet an actual PF any recommendations for what I should run to knock everything down? Edit to add: im running a M&P pro with the 5" factory barrel

Well, my gun safe is bolted down in a dark corner of my basement, the old dial type on a liberty so I came up with some cheap ways to make it a little nicer. Liberty sells a very nice but quite pricy light that goes over your dial or keypad to illuminate it so you can see that runs for about $15-$30. Well that is a box or two of ammo for me so for a while I would just hang a flashlight on the handle. Better cheaper way I found was I happened to have a coupon for a free flashlight from Harbor Freight and picked one up and found it has lights in the bottom and the front along with a magnet on the back. Threw it on the safe over the dial and bam, bush the button and illuminates the dial nicely and can also be used for a flashlight. http://www.harborfreight.com/27-led-portable-worklightflashlight-60566.html I also use velcro or thumb tacks to mount the puck lights that you puck lights that you push the front to turn on and those light up the inside quite well too. Anyone else have any cool hacks to make a shooting room and anything shooting related easier or cheaper? I know there are some good ones -
I am new to 3 gun and am looking for advice on shotgun ammunition. I have an SLP MK1 12 gauge. Any good brands, bad brands, shot size, anything that you have found will be helpful.
