I'm planning a lightweight precision rig. Going with either a 16 inch lothar walther middy or a 18 inch satern rifle length. What would be the best bcg choice for these barrels? I'm planning to use a slr adjustable block as well. Thanks in advance for your advice!

I have a Versamax Tactical with monotube, worked over by RCI X-Rail. Their take on the carrier is that you can run the factor one, as that will feed best. I have yet to be bitten, but others that have shot my gun left a trail from their bleeding thumb. I've also run Taran Tactical Benelli M2 carrier in a previous Versamax I've owned. That one was rather short, and had some feeding issues that (I now know) may have been fixed with the RCI dogleg spring and Wolff +25% extra power recoil spring. Just curious what you've tried and are are currently running and why.

Hi there guys, the the title says most of it, I'm relatively new to USPSA and having shot limited thus far am likely switching over to production. I have been looking for solutions to consolidate space for mag carriers, but I am unclear on the legality of the Comp-tac Beltfeed mag carrier system, which looks like a good use of space. I have read the USPSA rules, and I dont have the relevant measurements on the mag carrier system to verify legality. I have had a CRO essentially say it could be legal, but she was unable to provide a definite answer. I was curious if anyone out there is using it, and could confirm it was in fact legal.

Hi, Is there a difference in lightening the carrier vs. the buffer? I mean if the total weight is the same. I have a low mass carrier but the buffer is a standard weight carbine with all the weights still in there. Should I take out some of them? If so, how many? And should they be swapped out with something else? Delrin? Happy for all tips and tricks.

Hi I am building a new upper and have noticed that many barrel manufactures sell premium barrels with a bolt, as a kit. I understand that this is to make sure that it headspaces correctly and such, but is it wise to always change the bolt when swapping barrel? Or do you just measure the old one and go on shooting? What do you consider high mileage on a bolt head.
