I was recommended by a user to post this in this location. Hope that's OK. I'll keep this as concise as possible. Looking at buying a Nordic NC-15 WYLDE (UPC 816696020082) for around $639. However, info, reviews, or videos on Nordic in general is very limited - not 1 major Youtube channel has reviewed Nordic. Practically nothing on the NC-15 at all. No reliability/durability testing, whether it can eat steel cased, and all the other standard review topics. Also, there are very few retailers, and I have yet to find even 1 review for the gun. Even on gun.deal (formerly slick guns) no one has touched the rating or comment section and people LOVE to give their opinions on there. This is disconcerting to me as I'll read 30 articles, 50 pages of forums, and watch 10 hours of video reviews for a product. The stark lack has scared me away in the past. That said, on this forum, I see good reviews of Nordic hardware and I have read some pretty good reviews of the Nordic PCCs or .22. My use for this would be home defense, general plinking, SHTF. Nordic NC-15 is listed as $639 (though on a few websites I have seen it at over $1,600. What the heck? Price gouging or is $639 just a fantastic deal?). Other rifles I'm considering: M&P 15 Sport 2 ($519 for MOE model), Springfield Saint ($730). The NC-15 has what seems to be upgrades that similarly priced ARs don't: - Large Midwest Industries M-LOK handguard (similar to ~$200 Gen 3 MI; has 1 nut at the base vs 2 and a slight design difference.) - Magpul grip/buttstock (lower end models, but many rifles in the $600-$700 range only have the standard hand guard, grip, and stock) - 9310 for the bolt (not carrier?) vs 158 carpenter - MPI bolt (don't think the carrier) - Forged lower (not billet) - the barrel (if the same as sold separately) appears to have great reviews, even in the competition world. Theoretically should be far above a standard 4140 M&P Sport barrel or the Saint. - Upgraded flash hider (around $90 at Cheaper Than Dirt) vs. birdcage Am I missing something? Is Nordic's marketing team just missing the ball? I came to this forum because when searching "Nordic" this was the site that had the most hits for that search. Thanks in advance for the help!! NOTE TO NORDIC: If your quality will stand up to criticism and want to increase sales, maybe give Nuttin' Fancy, Military Arms Channel, and IV8888 a rifle to test and get your name out there. The lack of reviews will prevent most people from ever buying any Nordic rifle. All the best!

Tried to make an overview of all roll pins used on an AR. 1/16" x 1/4" (1.59 x 6.35 mm): Trigger Guard Detent Pin Forward Assist Pawl Pin (New round type) A1 Rear Sight Wheel Retaining Pin 1/16" x 5/16" (1.59 x 7.94 mm): Forward Assist Pawl Pin (Old teardrop type) 1/16" x 7/16" (1.59 x 11.11 mm): Ejector Retaining Roll Pin - (Btw, this size seems to be a rare special order type which is hard to find) 5/64" x 5/16" (1.98 x 7.94 mm), alternatively a 2x8 mm should fit: Gas Tube Retaining Roll Pin Charging Handle Latch Roll Pin 3/32" x 1/2" (2.38 x 12.70 mm): Bolt Catch Retaining Pin Forward Assist Pad Pin 3/32" x 5/8" (2.38 x 15.88 mm): Forward Assist Retaining Roll Pin 1/8" x 7/16" (3.18 x 11.11 mm): Type D Stock Sling Swivel Retaining Pin 1/8" x 1/2" (3.18 x 12.70 mm) Front Sling Swivel Pin 1/8" x 5/8" (3.18 x 15.88 mm) Trigger Guard Pivot Pin 1/8" x 3/4" (3.18 x 19.05 mm) Rifle Buffer Pad Retaining Pin 1/8" x 7/8" 3.18 x 22.23 mm Type D Stock Swivel Bracket Retaining Pin Hope I got that right. I am getting into the sport of 3-Gun. What are the advantages, or your experiences, with 9mm carbines versus a .223 rifle?

Hi My muzzle brake shows significant signs of erosion. I have more or less eroded away half the thickness at the center of the baffles. My question is does this affect accuracy or make the compensator less effective? Is there a security issue here? When do you guys change yours? I could always buy a new one, but I am somewhat curious. The comp is a Henning Thor model, and has about 10 000 -15 000 rounds. I have always regarded it as well made and effective. A product I would recommend to anyone. Thanks

I have 2000 60 Gr. VMAX and an 8 pounder of H335. Is anybody using these components for their 3-gunning? I'm looking for a good load in a 16" AR. I'm running 23.2 grains right now but it is only doing 2650 in my gun. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks! -Shaky

New to forum; thinking of getting into 3-gun. After reading the rules, I have come up with silly questions Can you use an AR-15 pistol in large bore (.458 or .50bw)? Its bigger than 9x19. What about c-mag in the pistol; less than 142 millimeters. Can the pistol and rifle be the same, ie folding stock? Apart from giving up rifle optic, could you really use 2 guns in a 3 gun match?
