Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. 180 Blue bullet, 1.135, 4.5gr of W231 or HP38. Has made 172-174 pf at every match I've shot since 2011... except last week at the A6 match it made 164.3.

    CZ 75TS vs 2011

I've got over 25k on one ss. It wouldn't bother me if it was the only one I had to shoot nationals with.
  4. The coated bullet should be a little faster if everything else is the same.
  5. Thank you. The only "fitting" trouble I had was the screw that holds the mag release spring. The chrome got in there and the screw wouldn't tighten. If I was doing it again I'd just put it back in the gun before sending it.
  6. This would be fairly close. I don't know anything about them or their rules. http://www.northernvirginiagunclub.org/about.html
  7. So something about the plated bullets themselves was causing setback issues?

    CZ 75TS vs 2011

What kind of trouble? I've put nothing but coated bullets through mine over the last 5 years. Once I got the OAL right I've had no issues. I'd guess these issues are related to profile and length rather than the coating.

It's not quite as boring now. look at the thread in the gallery for a newer pic.
  11. The trigger, hammer, safety, and magwell were replaced. I cut the the dustcover, undercut the beaver tail and trigger guard. Removed the checkering and had it chromed. All of that bumped my match performance by about 0.001% I'm sure.

I never measured it with the stock trigger so no numbers. Honestly, any difference is negligible in my mind. I don't think it shows up in a stage at all. Maybe you can perceive the difference in dry fire.
  13. Thanks, I see what you're talking about.
  14. What lightning cuts are you referring to on a regular TS?
