Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. The tungsten guide rod has a greater diameter than the stock guide rod.
  2. If you go to tungsten guide rod, Commander springs at the ticket.
  3. I used commander spring on tungsten guide rod. It has different diameter than stock.
  4. Change striker spring to Glock 6lb. Factory spring too strong, impedes going into battery.
  5. I run a 5lb spring without problem on cci primers, most use 6lb glock
  6. Legion...nice. Running a Canik Rival for fun, with RMR GIVES me one pair of glasses for all three guns....
  7. New to CO, run Holosun 507c acss, red, 6moa. Has Chevron, like ACOG. Solar + battery. Works for me.
  8. Just installed Freedomworks Pro in Rival....no issues. Works as advertised, little takeup, crisp, short reset. Added tungsten guide rod, cut 16lb 1911 spring to commander length, for now. Runs smooth, no battering. Wish is was captured. Adder TF brass backstrap, mag extensions (Aluminum), will try brass for weight. 6lb glock strike spring. Grip tape on the way. Trying to get used to carry optics.
  9. Just shot the ProAm at Rockcastle. Seems like a good place for the Nationals. Terrain, distance, jungle run, everything you'd want.
  10. Magazines will seat easily with 7 rounds, but won't lock in place with 8 rounds. Hate slamming magazines into the gun only to see them fall out. Cut springs?
  11. Does anybody ever trim their brass for overall length?
  12. Look for dirt and debris inside the tumbled brass. Found caked dirt in one case which would have caused an outrageous overpressure. Also try using a Lee Factory crimp die to avoid bullet setback.
