  1. [emoji7] I’m sure we’ll be seeing each other soon enough, my friend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’ve been looking into trying this. Need to find out where I can get this powder though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Definitely an interesting idea. My only concern would be reliability. I would want to shoot the exact same thing at the matches that don't matter just so I know how the gun will perform at the matches that DO matter. Knowing my luck, I would have it run flawlessly at the matches that don't matter then have all sorts of malfunctions when I actually care about the match.
  4. I'm a big fan of the Nest products. I started with the doorbell, got the smoke/co2 detector, ended up getting the thermostat then I did a couple outdoor cameras. The quality is exceptional and the nice part is I plan on moving as well. They just plug into outlets so when I'm ready to move, I can just unplug them and take it with. I ran outlets though to where I wanted the cameras to be.
  5. Ahh that makes sense. Thank you for the response!
  6. Call me dumb but what does "hollow ground" mean?
  7. This. Plus Don is a magician with cerakote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. For sure! And this is my first open gun so once I get some trigger time I’m sure I’ll be changing things. I know I’m already not a fan of the *thumb rest [generic]* I have so I’m going to either take it off all together or get a different one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m not sure the exact ratio that was used but I know it’s at least one part titanium and one part sniper gray. I really like the medium gray color on it for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks man! I'm definitely diggin it so far. Gonna get out and shoot it today.
  11. Just got mine yesterday from Don.
  12. Something like this would be awesome for practice where I can take phone calls as needed. For matches I feel like I would have to go back to normal ear pro. Knowing my luck, I'd be getting a phone call right at "Are you ready? Standby".
  13. I was thinking the same. I'm going back and forth between going with a Mark7 or the 1050. Now it's between the Mark7 and the 1100. Only problem is I think you can only get the Mark7 with automation currently. I'm not wanting the automation quite yet. Mainly because I don't want to drop an extra $3k.
  14. I saw on a FB post it doesn't include the RT1500.
  15. I wonder if the 1100 will only have the one year warranty like the 1050...
  16. I'd buy once cry once if I were you. If you might eventually add a frame weight or *thumb rest [generic]*, you might as well get a race holster now. No sense in getting a holster then buying another one down the road. Plus you can get all your practice in with that same holster now. I really like my new DAA Alpha-X holster. Also, if you change guns down the road, you can get a new insert for it and call it good.
  17. It works for my production load so I don’t want to change that. I’d rather ream the pcc.
  18. I can't remember if I've tried only one or not. I may have to try that when I get home to see if it does the trick.
  19. Never thought about that. Maybe I'll get it reamed so I don't have to worry about it.
  20. So I have these on my 650. They really help with powder spillage. I just started running into an issue though with them. All three on my press are on the left side of the shell plate. That ends up putting pressure on the left side of the shell plate and ever so slightly pushes it to the right. Not a huge deal except every once in a while, my primers will flip sideways because the plunger for the primer is slightly out of line. If I remove these spill stops, I don't have issues with primers flipping.
  21. Haha. That is great! This is the type of stuff we would do. If you don't have fun with it, you're doing something wrong.
  22. This happens to me on my PCC I shoot for steel challenge as well. I just use my production minor loads and it sticks because they are loaded too long for the barrel on the PCC. They are 147 blue bullets. I would get the barrel reamed but I'm cheap. I'll just shoot it out when it happens.
  23. TBH we do it to have fun. So if I want to mess with a friend of mine who is a lefty, I'll design a tight lean that is easier for righties just to mess with him. That's all in good fun. He will turn around and do the same to me. There are certain people who shoot PCC just to win HOA. If you do a couple matches where you're designing stages that give them a disadvantage, you'll find they only shoot a couple matches of PCC before they go back to their normal division.
