Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Have you tried Hodgdon H100V? I've read up on it and it seems to be a good option. I bought a pound and I'm trying it. Starting with 40.0 gr with Berger 140 gr VLD (#26401). Hornady brass. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks everyone for the 'help'. I set up my Dillon powder measure with a UniqueTek micrometer and have it set at 0.1 grain under my target weight. Then I weigh the charge and bring it up to target weight with a trickler. Works great. The powder measure consistently throws within 0.1 grain so I have little or no wasted effort. 3. I appreciate your input on what I should be using. However, that wasn't the question that I asked. I'm asking the question because I have seen documentation of the accuracy of the Dillon powder measure compared to others (ie RCBS Competition Powder Measure). The Dillon appears to be more than comparable in accuracy and consistency. Hence my question. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. Does anyone make parts/kit to make a Dillon Powder Measure into a stand alone powder measure? Thinking about setting up for some precision rifle cartridge loading. Looking at the Solo single stage conversion for my 550b from UniqueTek. I would like to retain the Dillon powder measure (using the UniqueTek Micrometer setup) if possible. 5. Agree with you. I also have a Rebel 17. Cleaning is great and separation is quick and easy. I dry in the oven. Put the clean brass in an old foil turkey pan, set the oven at 220. Run for 20 minutes and then shut it off. Go back in an hour or so and they're cool and dry. The separator helps a lot because it shakes most of the water out with the pins.
