I bought a few sv mags on this forum a while back. I have used sv mags in my sti guns before and currently. Thses mags do not "seat" in -- mag release does not catch them. I have tried them in several pistols and they do work in any of them. I thought they were interchangable so what am i missing and can they be modified to work.
I always shoot non handloads in my 40 limited setup. Do not feel like I have the time to try reloading right now. My go to load is Georgia arms 180 gr. NO tax. free shipping from time to time. Used to run freedom all the time but they quit running good shipping deals. I do like georgia better but it is splitting hairs -- georgia seems a little softer
Just got off the phone with Glenn. i had ordered a grip from him about a month. Said he is running a little behind cause he is making mag release that blend in
that sounds like something to consider. Got a limcat I am having redone and am adding their steel grip to it. Unless it is so it fits like a glove think I will talk to lonestar for my DVC 3 gun
Looking for opinions on 2011 steel grips. limcat, pheonix, etc. What have you used and liked? Also was it a straight replacement or did it require a lot of fitting?
I have shot a number of different brands but now use Georgia Arms, on select weekends free shipping and no local tax, seems softer than other loads , completely reliable and makes major
I have both the DVC 3gun and the Brazos HP. Both are great but I perfer the DVC. Has been perfect since I got it (so has the Brazos since it was broke in). Might just be my personal pistols but the DVC recoils straight up while the Brazos recoils in an arc. And the DVC has a slightly longer sight raduis -- which I think helps.
Tried this topic under springs with no responses. I ran a light recoilmaster in a 40 cal 2011 for and thought it was great, very light recoil. Recoilmaster kind of failed (got gritty feeling and did not want to compress properly for pistol disassembly) so I replaced it with a standard spring and have not revisited the issue since then. Anyone with experience here?
Anyone try a light recoilmaster in a 2011 40 cal. . i did for a while and thought it was very soft shooting. ONly stooped when the recoilmaster kind of failed -- got gritty and did'nt seem to compress properly to disassemble to pistol. Put in a standard spring and have not revisited this option. Anyone with experience here. thx
