Good to know! I saw that EGW was making parts specifically for the Prodigy and was thinking that they might not be 100% compatible with all 1911/2011 parts. Sounds like this is not the case and standard 2011 mags will work just fine?
Looks like the Springfield prodigy ships with one 17 round and one 20 round magazine. Does anybody know if the tube size of each is identical?
I would want to increase capacity for LO by swapping the base pads ans I'm trying to figure out how many additional magazines I would need to get.
I bought a pair of used Remington versa max and want to remove the extended tube on one and add a plug to use for hunting. There are 2 different thread pitches…coarse on the tube and fine on the extension. The cap is the fine thread.
Anyone know thread pitch/compatibility for the stock tube (the coarse thread)? Can’t seem to find any specifically for the VM since they don’t make it anymore
Thanks. That’s what I figured. Was contemplating doing the free SBR registration with a pistol so I have a backup SBR but sounds like I can keep just one on the books for now.
The lower that I use for 99% of my shooting in 556 and 300 blk is my SBR lower. Has anyone heard of lowers failing (cracking or other issues)? Only about 15k but wondering if I need to be concerned as I get to 50k, 100k etc.
I tried some and was not impressed. 1.5 moa at best out of my barrel (20” WOA). Good enough for hitting long range steel on the cheap out to 700 yards at local range I guess.
Same barrel is 1 moa with 75 gr hpbt hornady and 1/2 moa with both 77 and 69 gr SMKs.
I’m not 100% sure but I think hammer and trigger are. There’s a list out there somewhere. Probably here…
Did the 3.5” shells chamber but not go bang? Or go bang but not cycle?
Thanks! Are you using their targets and app to record shot placement? Seems like it be valuable feedback…kinda like how we use live fire to confirm dry fire work.
