Have not yet tried SP in 45acp, however I kid you not Ramshot Competition is amazingly soft in my 45 acp G30...

I for one would like names of the manufacturers of ht bullets that came off after being fired, this would clearly help all with future bullet purchases. Thanks in advance!

Hey DH, Cannot find an upper anywhere... Did find a Storm Lake Conversion barrel and of course mags. So I called my gunsmith and he said he just could not imagine that would not work. It would be an $200 experiment however just really don't want to spend $650 +/- on a G20 or g40 right now...

Deciding I would reload & shoot the 45 more I bought the G30, love it, and shoot it well however owning a 10mm is driving me crazy! Someone mentioned I should be able to convert my G30 to a 10mm? The frame appears to be the same as the G29 (10mm). Is this true and is it safe to do so? If so what parts do I need? Is this done often? Thanks in advance! IGG

I used TG, switched to Ramshot Competition 3.9 gr behind an Acme 230 gr RN which gives me 175 ish PF out of a G 30. Much cleaner and softer! Cheers!

However which size has there been the best results with? 10/14 14/20 20/40 Also the best price I found is zoro.com for $33.78 per 40 lbs free shipping for orders over $50 consequently would have to order two bags but seems to be a great price - $68 for 80 lbs! Thanks for the suggestion. I had that happen a long time ago and installed lock nuts on the top and the underside of the toolhead on that die.

Great info BentAero, thx. I might just need to change to a diff profile Acme for 45 ACP even if it is a different grain. I've heard their SWC does not run well in a G30 though... I like their bullets and customer service, they are great people and I like to support them. Cheers! IGG

Thx BJB, have been loading the 135 rn at 1.150 for a long time and still pleased. But as I mentioned not so happy with the new 230 gr rn 46 acp. Loading them now with new profile .025 shorter...

I think the Acme 9s are the same profile; the 230 gr rn 45 acp were recently changed to a different profiler and I had to load them much shorter than I'd prefer for my G30... Might be looking for another coated projectile which allows me to load longer for my G30. Cheers!
