I have owned both the old version and the newer stroked one. There is a difference for sure in recoil. I favour the old unstroked versions. But thats my preference. Its like comparing felt recoil and what you like to see visually between shooting 124gr vs. 147gr bullets. You might favour one over the other. If I were Tanfoglio factory I would go back to the old configuration or at least make is possible to choose how you want it stroked.

KMR pistols, CZ clones from Czech republic

Shadow2 grips fit, but depending on choice of brand you will get a small gap between frame and grip. Armanov fits witouth gap. If using kydex holster you need a special KMR mold. For race holsters I dont know. -

Thank you! In contrast what the majority of people think, longer and bigger isnt always better. When it comes to guns there are pros and cons about weight in general and heavier is not better in my opinion. Especially if the weight is up front static or it cycles forward during recoil. A 5” gun will be heavier. I dont like it. The balance of a 4.5” gun especiallt for 9mm is the sweet spot and thats why I like the SP01 Shadow, the Stock2 and now the Umbra. I would also have gone with a Redback instead of the Drake of the Phoenix guns. I havent tested max oal. I only run my regular loaded ammo I’ve been using for many years in all my guns. 121gr frontier fp extreme bullet at 27.8mm. The gun have been reliable so far, but I only put 4500 rounds through it so cant testify to it being used more than that, but I see no reason why it wouldnt be reliable. Its a cool gun with great build quality as far as I can tell. I wouldnt hesitate if you got your eyes on one. -

This is the Umbra, not the Spectra. -

I am pretty sure its a M4 screw, but its a special super shallow head to make it fit the plate flush. I had to get new screws from Tanfoglio when mine got rounded. Then realized the solution was to go to a different aftermarket plate that worked with ”normal” M4 torx screws.

It's not mine, but done by a machine shop here in Sweden. Have no pictures of what you want.

Mark 7 Evolution - General Discussion

Hi, haven't seen any Evo pros for sale lately. What do a 2y old evo pro go for these days? With dies and so. Skickat från min IN2023 via Tapatalk -
A little tip regarding extractor springs. Instead of buying a xtra power one, you can also cut a few coils off a mag button spring an put it inside the stock extractor one. Double spring so to speak. Works great for adding extra power.

Hello, in what angle should the slide be mille on a Tanfo for red dot? 89’ or even closer to 90’? What is the downside of going parallell with the top of slide?

New Trijicon SRO cut for Tanfoglio
tedahlenius85 replied to CarlB86's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
Carl, is the fp pin in use after this cut? If so, can you post a photo of it to see how much they needed to cut off it? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk -
New Tanfo Stock 3 owner; need to get a Grip

Try Roughneck or Full checkered instead of bogies if you havent already. They are comfortable but still grippy.- 30 replies

Yes, its a timing issue. But I cant figure out how to tune the disco to make this work. If pulling the trigger normally, you never notice it. You really have to pull it and hold it precisely where hammer drops to make it drop to half cock. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk

Hi, how to fix a shadow that during double action drops to half cock before pulling a little litle bit more and it falls entirely? Pre-b disco and comp hammer.

Mark7 Evolution - Tuning & Troubleshooting
tedahlenius85 replied to Nigels1911's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
Also got inconsistent powder drops with Evo. The powder measure have been back to M7 for an update. I get about 0.3 gr variations. When manually handcycle the drop, its consistent more or less, but when running the press, its up to 0.3gr lower drop. I have tested lowest speed setting, higher speed, bottom dwell up to 10, index speed and so.. it doesnt matter. Something happens differently that causes this. Might be how the funnel lining up as someone wrote or just that when funnel activates the rotation and drop, some powder ”jumps” up and the space for powder isnt packed full when rotation to release it. I dont know, but it sucks big time. I have to buy a Dillon powder measure now to use until I hear something about M7 fixing the problem. I didnt realize the drops were so inconsistent until I chrono ammo and saw 70-100fps ES and 30 SD. With my old press I had always single digit SD. The accuracy was crap too with loads from Evo which isnt strange with those kind of variations in powder and fps. I also had the powder drop get stuck in its upper position. So it didnt rotate back to pick up new powder. This resulting in lot of empty cases since I dont have a powder check to stop machine. -

It is .092” high. Which is in the higher range of the specs they recommend (.060-.100) Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk -

Mark7 Evolution - Tuning & Troubleshooting
tedahlenius85 replied to Nigels1911's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
I took it apart and made sure everything ran smooth and was clean. It seems like with more speed, the index thing moves cause of more torque from machine. Making it not grab the shellplate sometimes. Instead slips underneath it or something. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk -

Anyone have experienced indexing problems with shellplate? I followed the index adjustment instructions and everything was within specs. Still skips indexing every 5 or so strokes while running the press on 1600+ rph. If someone had the same problem and figured it out I appreciate the help. Am waiting response from support about it, but someone might be faster with answer here maybe? -

0.2gr is not ok with any powder. 0.05-0.1gr is ok. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
