You can't just put the frame from a plastic gun on a metal gun. Metal guns just don't flex like plastic does. It wouldn't work reliable. The grip safety is maybe because the trigger is not drop safe. Like with the Walther Q5 Expert triggers. They don't sell them for that reason in the US.

Get the new Shotmaxx 2 from Double Alpha. Ugly as hell - but you can change the volume of the buzzer to a volume suitable for dry firing in a family environment.

...and just won my first IPSC Level III this weekend. It is a total different style of shooting when you don't habe to worry about accidently dropping a mag.

Thanks guys for your help! Finally I switched over to a standart length mag release and the problems are gone. No I can go hard on the Shadow. :-)

What do you think, has the IPSC-rating improved over time? Usually it is pretty good in forecasting my matchresults in comparison to other shooters.

It happened once or twice during dry fire. Usually it only occurs when Iam realy tensed. But I can´t reproduce it intentionally. Does the original mag release fit in the shadow frame? If so, I replace the shadow extended mag release. Unfortunately Iam living in germany...so thank you for your offer...but I don´t think, that it will be a good deal for both of us. :-D I have very short fingers - but I also don´t see the need of a extended mag release.

Hi, every now and then I unintenionally release the mag of my CZ 75 SP-01. Especially when I go hard and usually only during live fire. Good thing about that is, that it prevents me during matches to overpace...but it still sucks. ;-) Anybody here with the same problem? What is your solutution? Is there a smaller Mag Release available?

Hello from Germany, shooting IPSC for 4 years now. Using a CZ75 SP-01 Shadow and a Dillon 650. Seems I can learn a lot from you all!
