Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just ordered my White Oak in 1/7 thanks for the input guys. Cant wait to finish this build!
  2. I see a lot of talk about ratchet rifling and I was wondering if it was worth the extra money. I see that Shilen is making a ratchet barrel so its backed by a good name. Do any of you guys have any first hand experience with it thanks. Oh and im going to put in on an "SPR" style build.
  3. Yes I was looking at the white oak barrels they have great reviews everywhere. There on back order right now I will call tomorrow to see when they expect to have them back in stock.
  4. I have been working on a SPR style build and have yet to come to a decision about a barrel. I am trying to decide on brand, chambering (5.56 or .223 wylde) and twist rate.I Pretty much know that i want it to be 18" long, have a rifle length gas system and be of an "SPR" profile. What would you guys go with. Thanks in advance.
  5. I got a deal on a standard M&P9 that I could not pass up and I was wondering they interchangeable with the standard M&P inserts? I am not all that familiar with M&P's and i could not find the answer on the interwebs thanks.

  8. Thank you guys for the info. Leaning more and more towards becoming a member at WAC.
  9. Hey guys I'm new and I am sorry if this has already been addressed in another thread. But are there any ranges in the Tampa Bay Area were I would be allowed to draw from a holster and get some real practice in between matches? Thanks
  10. I have a glock 34 and a vp9 that I have been using in idpa and I have not started reloading yet I have reloaded 30-06 a long time a go with one of those little hammer Lee loader sets but never had a large scale setup.
  11. I'm located in the Tampa Bay Area. I have shot a little idpa at my local range but I'm interested in getting involved in 3 gun and USPSA.
