My major power factor load for my eaa witness is 4.3 hp38 behind a 180 lead bullet at 1.135" makes 170pf .

Hp38. I use 4.3gn at 1.135" with a 180 lead bullet.

Hp38 is my go to in 40. My major load is 4.3gn behind a summers enterprises 180gn lead bullet @ 1.135". What does this chrono for you? I only ask because it is below the starting load on the Hodgdon site for 180gr Berry FP's, which should be faster than a lead bullet. 930to 945 fps. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

In my tanfoglio loading longer than 1.135 causes feeding issues.

I shoot limited major I load 20 in my mags.

I Have a tendency that once the buzzer goes off I run on mostly instincts and muscle memory. Last match on my last stage my stage plan went out the window fairly early and I reloaded early leaving me short 2 rounds for the last target. Somehow as I was moving toward the last target I instinctively reloaded and shot the last target. After I unloaded , clear, holster, I realized what I did and that I must have been counting shots Subconsciously. This was all in a 36 round 20 second stage. Typically I count shots during my walk through and plan my reloads. Then I try to only remember where the mag changes go instead of consciously counting shots. Anyone else ever catch themselves Subconsciously count shots?

Being that it's your first match you should definitely show up early and let the people running the match know that it's your first time. They will go over the procedures with you and maybe squad you with someone experienced with helping new competitors. Also, leave your guns in their cases untill you talk to someone about their procedures.

It's mostly just so friends can shoot together. The squad is the group you will shoot with throughout the match. each squad will be on a different stage at the same time. Then once everyone on your squad has shot the stage the whole squad goes to the next stage.
