I recognize that this thread is old, but I wanted to chime in in favor of Fenix lights. I've been using Fenix lights for EDC for over a decade now and I've never had a problem with them. I have a PD35 TAC that has been my EDC for the last 3-4 years and it's fantastic. Prior to that, I was running a PD32. One thing to remember with any of the lights is that battery choice is critical. I run 18650's in mine, specifically Samsung 30Q high drain batteries.

Hi Everyone, Looking opinions on a factory carry optics gun with a 3-5# trigger that will work well for small hands (women's small gloves, for example). Trying to get my wife out shooting more and my Glocks (Gen3 and 4) and 2011's are too large for her hands. For reference, she's super-comfortable with a Walther P22. Thoughts? Thanks!

Hi All, I've been looking into inexpensive night vision optics (sub $1000) and I repeatedly see the ATN X-Sight II "Smart Riflescope" popping up. Does anyone here have any actual hands-on experience with this optic? Thanks!

I have to say, I'm surprised how many people are carrying M&Ps and how few people are saying, "Glock." I typically carry a 26 with a spare mag or a 19 with a spare mag.

Well, Jack, I started out in IDPA, then added 3 gun and USPSA. Now I primarily shoot Limited in USPSA, although I'm hoping to get in more 3 gun this year.

Hi Everyone, So, I was debating guns on FB with a quasi-anti-gunner and he asked what I thought was "reasonable" for EDC. Now, obviously, there's a legislation trap there, but I posited that most CCW carriers probably carry a single gun and 16-53 rounds. I came by that number by figuring that most people would carry at least a single spare mag, especially for the "pocket" guns and many carry 2. Now I'm curious to hear from other CCWs as to what your actual EDC is. Thanks!
