Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thank you. I may just go with the warren sights then. I feel like I would want to hit where I am aiming. I don't know how I would feel about hitting high all the time.
  2. I am also interested in these sights. Any updates on them? I am only worried about how high they hit and how wide the rear site is. I would be putting them on a 34.
  3. This may be a dumb question. But, are the magpul or ets mags production legal?
  4. I want to open up the loading port on a JM pro, but I have herd that it is better not to. I have already made the front hand guard closer to the receiver, so it is out of the way. But, I have herd that the trigger guard will get in the way when loading after opening the port. Has anyone experienced this? If so, would it just be best to leave it alone and get a welded lifter? Thank you
  5. I ended up getting the 13.5 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. For the 200yard and in matches it is a dream. It's fast and with the armalite comp it barely moves. Also, I am only shooting 55grain with great results. I shot out to 500 with 55gr and was able to ring the steel. With a Burris Mtac, at a 200yard zero, I am splitting dots for holdovers. But, it is working so well I don't want to change a thing.
  6. I would like to know where to get one too. I emailed benelli a couple months ago and was told that they are not sold as a part alone. But, if someone could somehow get them that would be great.
  7. Thank you for all the replies. Now just need to decide on what way to go. Also, what does a Jager guiderod and ISMI spring in 13-15lbs do? What spring is best and how would it change the function? I can see how a metal guid rod would be nice, but i dont understand the spring. Is it for recoil controll like an adjustable gas block? Also, you mentioned a lightend striker. Is the striker a good thing or bad?
  8. What hight sight is the most common? Also, how would you adjust the sights? Never seen vanek, will check them out. Thank you.

    New to uspsa

I have a glock 34 gen 4 that I want to shoot for 3 gun and uspsa limited. If this topic has been brought up already I am sorry. So, I am not amazed by the stock trigger and there are so many options. Do I go with a oc custom, dk,zev, agency arms, taran, or something else? I really want a positive reset and as close to a crisp break as possible. Also, what else is recommended for a new limited shooter? I was thinking about Dawson sights and maybe grip tape. Also maybe a barrel, like a Wilson or a Kkm.
  10. Thanks for all the replies. I was reading the uspsa rules and after re-reading a bit I see the differences. I will be shooting limited minor. I think I like the Dawson ice based on the plastic insert, size, and the looks. A glock 34 with the Dawson will be legal in uspsa as far as size right? Are the tti base pads the way to go? Or is there a better option that is less known?
  11. The carver looks nice. I saw the sjc on their website too. Is that too large to be any more of an advantage? Also, on a glock 34 will that be too large for uspsa? As far as weight. Why would you want more weight?
  12. It would be for competition. I don't think weight would matter. I mainly shoot 3 gun. Thank you.
  13. I want to get a magwell for a glock 34 gen 4. What is the most popular out there? I see there is the Dawson ice, the taran tactical, the zev, the alg, and the Jp. As far as price and quality what is the best? Also, will some not work with specific magazine base pads? Thank you.
  14. I saw this when I was looking around online. Has anybody tried the short barrel? If so, can you get decent accuracy out of the 13.5in barrel? Also, does it handle well compared to an 18"? I was thinking about getting just the upper and wanted to see what the opinions are on it. Thanks.
