    PX4 G-SD Thread

It swings like a polymer gun on transitions and feels like a bigger metal gun when shooting. How do you like the GG trigger? The length of pull looks ridiculous on it.

    PX4 G-SD Thread

Starting a thread for the new PX4 G-SD. Beretta has recently released their bull barreled PX4. Comparing between the original PX4, the G-SD is less than an ounce heavier, stemming from the weight in the bull barrel. After shooting it, it does seem to have a slightly flatter shooting slide as the increased weight in the barrel more than likely dulls the impulse response as the energy is transferred into the rotation of the barrel. Anyone else gotten a G-SD?
  3. I've got the PRP spring kit in mine, and an Apex guide rod. I've been the happiest with the Echelon and the M&P metal when it comes to Striker Fired guns. I'd be really excited if someone came out with an aluminum or steel grip module for these...
  4. Who knows, Troy might lash out and threaten to ban them as a match sponsor forever
  5. I bought one pretty close to the release. I've put about 300-400 rounds through it and we're designing followers to get 24+1 in them. For a stock polymer striker fired gun, it shoots really well. It tracks pretty much up and down, and the modularity of it is pretty cool but there obviously isn't a lot available for it. The trigger is very average, sitting somewhere between the Glock and M&P trigger. It definitely beats the stock P320 trigger though. I think if the price comes down to closer to $500 or high $400s, I would buy it over most polymer guns on the market today and it could have a real chance at becoming a very popular platform. Fits a P320 blade tech holster, and it uses XDM base pads. Currently using an Acro P2 with the springfield plate.
  6. Not joking… I use a bladetech P320 Holster and it fits it really well.
  7. Darn, I really must have gotten one of the old ones. I'm picking it up from my FFL tomorrow but it only came with 3 plates, and I've read the first iteration only came with the Doctor, C-More, and DPP plates. I'll have to find a solution to get an SRO on this slide.
  8. Did the new one come with an rmr plate? I believe i picked up an older one and an rmr plate was not included
  9. I've got an overwatch precision kit in my F as well as an HBI -10% spring. It lightens up the trigger a bit and feels pretty good. It doesn't get as light as some other platforms but it seems perfectly reasonable for a CO gun and/or carry gun.
  10. I've really been enjoying the M&P Competitor, it shoots pretty freaking well for a completely stock gun. Given that it's designated as a 2.0, has anyone played with any of the aftermarket parts for the plastic 2.0 in regards to whether they work in the competitor? Curious about guide rods, trigger parts, etc.
  11. To shoot carry optics. Also looks like s&w included a secondary tool to allow use without a magwell.
  12. Not sure if I’m crazy, but I just picked up the competitor. The tool doesn’t sit flush and sticks out a TON when you remove the magwell. Anyone have one of these yet and have experiences the same?
  13. You’re forgetting most of them have 4 popple holes and comps already. They’re in for a treat when they try to sign up for LO and they’re bumped to open anyways.
  14. So… split Open into 2 divisions for major and minor?
  15. In the same vein, if someone doesn’t come out to shoot because they don’t want to shoot their first couple of matches in a division where they aren’t competitive to figure things out, they aren’t that serious either.
