Headed to northern NM this Thursday for the Balloon Fiesta/vaca/advanced scouting for a move in the next 3 years. Have a friend who was a locum tenens there so I've got the choice places to eat down for the 4 days. Looking to scout the Sandia Rio Rancho suburbs and the obvious question is what ranges should I scope out while I'm there? No intent to shoot, just to get a feel for what a free state looks like after 25 years in NY.

Being limited to 10 round magazines in NY makes using an Ice magwell difficult. The OEM mags have a long plastic base making aftermarket baseplates unusable. I've heard rumor of a Canadian company that made extended bases for the OEM mags with an integrated extension that did not change capacity but allowed use in a magwell such as the Dawson Ice. Anyone seen or heard of this "unicorn"? Anyone have suggestions to adapt these mags for use with a magwell? Sent from my A200 using Tapatalk

10 is our legal limit which forces us to work on accuracy. 9mm enforces thatSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk but if 10 is your legal limit, you can still shoot L10 major, and you can still shoot accurately, you just don't lose as many points for the charlies and occasional delta. shooting L10 minor to enforce accuracy makes as much sense as shooting L9 to enforce accuracy.
