Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I’ve had a time with my p320 mags. I like the TTI and Henning basepads best. However, even with grams spring/follower I still only get 20 in my 17rd with the +5 TTI basepad and 22 reloadable with the 21rd mags and the +2 tti basepad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have been under the impression that they abandoned the C.O.R.E. models, but like I said. The piece I’m talking about is what holds the backstrap on. I’d be all for just using some Jb weld and silicone carbide to hold the backstrap on then removing that extra piece. Speaking of backstraps, is anyone making a brass replacement like they have for the canik? Now that essentially everything goes in CO and Production. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I am shooting a Legion right now, but every time I handle an M&P with the Apex trigger, I wonder why I wasted the money on the Legion. The only hang ups I have are the lack of an Optics ready model and that stupid little piece that hangs out of the backstrap at the magwell. It’s possible I live under a rock and there is news of an Optics ready model, but is there anything you can do to fix that annoying little piece that I’m sure no one but myself is concerned about? 4. Thanks for taking the time to post these. Looks great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Very nice. Any of the magwell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Do you have any photos of how Alma shaped your grip? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So removing the notches seems to be the norm. Any advice on the process would be appreciated. I’d prefer to not have to replace it after I screw it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Wondering how everyone is treating the notches left on the grip when the magwell is removed? I won’t bring using the magwell ever so should I just dremel out the magwell or just leave them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I was thinking I had grams guts in, but after a quick check, they definitely have a factory follower. I’d bet that would be the solution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    23 round mags?

I have set up a few 21rd mags with the Taran +2 basepads since I got my Legion. Initially I thought it was just going to take a minute for them to settle before I could get 23rds in them. I haven’t done much searching but I know none of the mags I have set up this way will allow me to start a stage with 23+1. What is the solution? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It sounds like a fun project. I don’t see a slide ride being less competitive than a frame mounted optic unless you can transition faster than the slide can open and close. Whether or not it is a waste on money, that is a question you have to ask yourself Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I actually made a point to look for these before I even posted. Thank you for helping me realize I’m a dumbass. The x5s I’ve handled with the shorter government model 1911 springs in them have felt like they’re not working properly. So I wanted to stick with what Sig built the guns on. That may change but right now I don’t have a reason to not stick with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. With around 1000rds through my X5 Legion, I can tell this factory 12# recoil spring is not going to last more than a few thousand rounds at a time. I’ve seen guys using 1911 springs as replacements, but where can the factory recoil spring be purchased? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Does anyone know of a rule that explains whether or not it is legal to start with the hammer down on a loaded DA/SA gun in Limited division? Versus hammer back safety on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. When I started shooting limited, I used a mag with dummy rounds until I learned how much pressure is involved with making the reload to a fully loaded mag. I haven't used them in years and I don't seem to have any issue with my reloads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
