My brother got a dq today with a 2011 that the hammer fought the half cock cock notch when he dumped it and couldn't put the Manuel safety on. I was wonder why the functional grip safety doesn't count. FN rules.

Why doesn't the grip safety on a 1911/2011 count like the the trigger safety on most sticker fired guns

I just bought an uncle Mike's belt. How bad is the teklok problem and should I consider a different mounting scheme. Also how long have you been using yours.
