  1. Compete with a 34, carry either a 19 or a 43 depending on time of year,ie clothing.
  2. I have both the Gen 5 17mos and 34 mos, I like both but for me the edge goes to the 17, it just feels faster.
  3. I have both the gen1 and gen2 Trijicon Rmr, I have been happy with both, no issues, both for carry and competing.

    Gen 3 22 value ?

Unfortunately a bunch on the market right now, and also does not seem to be much love for 40 caliber at the moment. Good luck on the sale.
  5. The fish gills do not really matter to me versus the standard serrations, but the RTF2 I really like! As someone posted it would be great if they did a RTF2 34/35 to make it comp legal.
  6. I have been using the Trijicon RMR 06 type 1 for a couple of years , no complaints so far. I ended up picking up a type 2 recently, but have not really had the time to play with it yet. Good luck with whichever you go with.
  7. That Garand looks amazing! Love the stocks, great grain.
  8. Strange when I first posted that about xtreme as it showed 15%off and free shipping, when I looked again later it just showed 20% off and no free shipping, still a good deal.
  9. Both Xtreme bullets and Blue Bullets are offering 15% off site wide and free shipping, time to stock up on bullets! Happy Thanksgiving all!
  10. All Glock oem parts work fine in the P80 frame, you may have to sand/stone the locking blocks a bit if it is too tight. fun project and the frames have a nice feel to them, enjoy!
  11. While I do enjoy running the CZ and 1911 sometimes,I do try to stick with the Glock platform since that is what I carry exclusively.
  12. Running a Vogel competition trigger in my gen 3 34, lots of rounds through it with no issues.
  13. As long as your gas gun is capable of 1 moa you are good to go, most prs competitions the targets are usually 2 moa or bigger. Being solid on positional shooting is probably one of the biggest factors.
  14. Another vote for the Gamechanger bag, yes they are expensive but probably the most versatile bag that I have bought.
  15. Another option is to go with the Remage barrel setup with your existing Remington 700, you can run short action rounds with the long action, works great. I have a long action Rem 700 setup with a 243,260 and 308 barrels, mostly use it for prs comps.
  16. I would just run the AR10 in PRS to get a feel for the sport and decide if you want to make the big jump where it can get real expensive, but lots of fun!
  17. As has been said sometimes life pushes you in a different direction. The biggest part is to still be able to shoot no matter what platform it is, just enjoy yourself!

    80% frames

Polymer80 seems to be the one I see the most,on sale at the moment on sale at Brownells and Midway ,around $120. I would like to try one as well and this may be a good time to do it.

    40 to 9

I am using a LW conv. barrel in my Gen 3 G35, no issues up to this point, stock extractor.
  20. I have loaded bunches of FC brass with no problems, usually try to use it for lost brass matches so no big deal to loose a bunch of it, mostly all range pickup any way.
  21. You could try using a small base die and see if the rounds feed better with that. Had the same type of problem with my 260, had some rounds that were fired out of one gun, I had resized them and used them in my other 260 and had issues of fired rounds not extracting(bolt guns), ended up using small base die to resize them and had no further issues.
  22. In both my Garand and M1A I have used mostly Winchester LR primers for HP matches and never had a problem, big issues are high primers and incorrectly sized brass.
  23. It does look like a MEC 600 jr. I have the 12 gauge version I have loaded wit for years, good little machine.
  24. I have the Dillon swager and just use that on all my brass, I still get the occasional primer that will not seat correctly(Tula,Winchester), I have to keep cleaning the primer cup or the primers will be a little uneven and not seat correctly either.
