Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I thought the match was fantastic. Difficult, and AHorner is making me a better shooter as he stretches my abilities and knowledge. I thought stage 2 was a good change in pace and once again I'm asking around if I needed to adjust hold over on pistol shots. I found myself wanting to shoot every stage again, immediately after finishing each stage. Even, the two I effed up royally. Squad 11 was great, even the Canadiens represented well and were a pleasure to shoot with. I'll be back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Re-read, statement is qualified appropriately. I won't repeat myself. Wish I had known or read about Jordan/Thacker/Samson. Glad they happened, good on them! Anyone else need to be mentioned?
  3. I'll admit to some social loafing here. I didn't want to post-I'll be there-on this forum, and neither saw, nor searched for sign ups. Should have PM'd you directly. But was thinking that information would be provided at the head shed. Poor assertiveness on my part and was thinking I'd just show up. Appreciate you stepping forward Jesse, only pro I was aware of at least acknowledging the clinic.
  4. Darkvibe put into words much of what I was feeling as well. This, my first, attendence at the Pro-AM was driven by hearing about much of what was mentioned above but no where to be seen. While, I did enjoy the match, the shooters, the ROs, and the fellowship at the conclusion of the day, I thought I would get more out of the experience. I shot AM expecting the stages to be straightforward (which they were) thinking there would be side matches and 'pro tips' set up throughout the day. I thought I'd shoot A LOT more rounds than I did. I expected more vendors there-because of previous years. I am very thankful for the support that was present. Appreciate the beverages provided by 5.11. I wasn't too concerned about the prize table (I received some very cool stuff and am thankful to CMT, VDI, KE, CMC, and Troy) and it didn't motivate me to go to the match. Appreciate the efforts of the match staff, their time, their passion. I had a great time and made the best of it, shot rather pedestrian but that's only my lack of practice, expectations were just a little different. I'd shoot it again however.
  5. Interested to hear how these rifles are running for ya'll, as well as what mods you've tried.
  6. Last message I was no 12, originally 63. Was offered a slot in pro but had work travel, which naturally is now cancelled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. +1 I don't see many 500yd shots, but I've had no problem at 400yds. Velocity is very consistent.
