  1. Hello: I want to get a Prodigy 4.25 but don't want to do a red dot quite yet. I was wondering if any companies are making a sight plate with an adjustable rear sight. I don't like a fixed rear sight due to different grain weights. Thanks, Adam
  2. As the title states, which has the less recoil. Thanks, Adam
  3. Yes, for thr sp-01 shadow and the shadow 2. But they are out of stock in Stoeger’s website
  4. I had a Langdon gun. I was not impressed at all with thr trigger. I have a Beretta Performance Defensive and those triggers feel better to me than the Langdon. I got rid of the Langdon. I am now getting an CZ shadow 2 with Cajun trigger job. Those are night and day better after trying my buddies.
  5. I appreciate the heads up but that is the slide stop.
  6. I bought the 92 defensive. 1000 rounds through it and it has been fine so far. The most accurate gun I have shot. Also handles recoil really well.

    Flat safeties

Anyone have a line where to find flat safeties for the SP-01 shadow target and the shadow 2? thanks, adam.
  8. I am looking to get into the metal gun game. I have tried a regular CZ SP-01 with the safeties and it did not work out well because of the safeties. Due to shooting Glocks, I have a very high grip which was messing with the safety, hence the decocker model takes that out of the equation. So I guess my question is this, I have shot both guns and like them both, which trigger can be made the best, the CZ decocker with Cajun gun works or a Langdon Beretta? Thanks, Adam
  9. I guess I should have been a little more specific. I shot slightly shorter guns faster and more accurate the longer barrels. I shot a Glock 17 and 19 faster and better than a 34. Also, the 5" inch 1911 is a little slower than the 4.5-4.25 inch 1911.
  10. I am looking for a single stack 1911 chambered in 9mm for IDPA. - Looking to have a 4.5ish barrel, not the full 5". - Fiber optic front with an adjustable rear. Anything out there that doesn't cost $3,000? Thanks, Adam
  11. Hello: I was wondering if the Atlas adjustable sight rear optic plate will work in a staccato P Duo. I saw where an individual mounted the SRO plate from atlas in his staccato and it worked. Thank you for the input. Adam
  12. So I can run a Glock 17 with a weapon mounted light from appendix with a 15 round mag?

  14. Hello: I have a few questions about the CZ SP-01 Shadow Orange. Does it come with the short reset trigger? Does it comes with an extended firing pin? Thanks, Adam
  15. Is the accushadow worth the extra money?
  16. Yes, it is very confusing. Lol. That is why I came for the wisdom from Enos.
  17. So I am looking to purchase a new handgun primarily to use in competition. IDPA / 3 Gun / USPSA I am looking at either the CZ SP-01 Shadow Custom, Beretta 92X Performance or the Staccato P. Thoughts? Adam
  18. I have been looking on CZ custom's website. I am thinking about getting a SP-01 Shadow. The SP-01 grip fits my hand better then the Shadow 2. Is the CZ SP-01 Custom Shadow pretty much ready to go, trigger job and all. Just looking for a little input. https://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/sp01-shadow-custom-black.html Thanks, Adam
  19. The only 10.5 I have is for work. Obviously if I have to take a shot, 99% chance it is inside 75 yards. Although I do have the 10.5 zeroed at 200 like all my rifles and it shoots 2.5" groups at 200 yards with our duty ammo. But for the do it all rifle, SHTF rifle, etc, I want to be mobile but also be able to engage targets at 500 yards. So for me anything shorter than a 13.9 is out of the question. But if a 18" CORE barrel balances as good as a 14.5 normal barrel then you also get the mobility and more velocity.
  20. The 16" as well balanced as they say it is with the core profile? After reading and doing a lot of research, I am really never going to get anything shorter then a 13.9 inch barrel. 10.5 and 11.5 are nice, but for an all around rifle 13.9 or longer seems to be the way.
  21. Hello, Just wondering if anyone here has had a good amount of time behind the Type B? How is it holding up? Still like it? Thanks, Adam.
  22. My rifle likes 62 to 64 grain rounds. So I run 62gr FMJ on bay stages and anything out to 200 yards. After that i will use 62 or 64 grain match stuff. Barrel just worked out that way which is nice.
  23. Just wondering if one barrel contour (criterion Core or hybrid) has an edge in the accuracy department over the other? Thanks, Adam
  24. Definitely not off topic. Thank you very much for the info. It was the Purebred 13.7 I assume?
