Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Roger, I'll give that a try. Thanks!
  2. Picked up two samples to try out. Canik nailed the value and trigger on this gun. Very impressed. Ran a few hundred rounds of Magtech 115gr FMJ, CCI Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ, Winchester M1152 115gr FMJ without issues through both guns. When I went to one of my carry loads... Federal 124gr +P HST JHP my guns started having issues. They went into battery very sluggish for the last 0.25" of travel. Striker released but no strike mark on rounds. Rounds did fire without issue when rechambered to test. Not sure if the JHP profile is hanging up going into battery or what (I am using factory recoil springs and the guns are both on the new side right now). Anyone have experiences with other bullet profiles besides FMJ (I did see the issues with 150gr Syntech which I had laying around as well and didn't take to range to test because of the other reports lol)?

    CHPWS Screws

This doesn't surprise me. I haven't had good luck with the quality of their products and have used more of their plates than I can count on one hand. Sadly though, I think crappy screws are common in the industry.
  4. Fact of the matter is you are giving out bad information. The manufacturer of the plates has these dimensions and has tested this thoroughly. I have tested this. You have not apparently. FCD MOS plates are for Trijicon RMR footprints only (excluding Holosun) for a reason. When you get a Holosun and test it with a FCD MOS plate please let us know.
  5. Except it does work that way (Holosun does not hold as tight tolerances as Trijicon in manufacturing). I have personal experience with all of the items discussed. Most Holosun RDS with "RMR Footprint" will not work on the FCD plate. This has been well discussed on other forums as well and by the manufacturer.
  6. The footprint may be the same but certain plates are made to tighter dimensions. Don't be shocked if your Holosun won't work on a FCD plate that is made to tighter tolerances than a Holosun...
  7. I've had this same issue. Pull trigger to rear and use a set of needle nose plyers to turn the pretravel take up screw.
  8. The Legion one should fit.
  9. What was the weight on your legion trigger from the factory? I'm debating going to this trigger as I think I want a shorter LOP.
  10. https://www.smith-wesson.com/performance-center 5", 4.25" models and both with ported models available as well. The overtravel adjustment seems interesting.

    P320 X5 Thread

I haven't noticed any issue from the notch on my Legion + DPP compared to my non Legion X5 + R1.
  12. I initially thought my Legion didn't lock up as tight as my pre-Legion X5, but I notice that Sig also seems to lube the Legions generously compared to the pre-Legion X5s from the samples I pulled. Looks like they are still using TW-25. When my Legion X5 was used a bit and the lube came off it seemed to be almost as tight as my pre-Legion X5...not sure it's any significantly different and if so probably done to lower the return to battery complaints when people ride the slide closed.
  13. I've found this to be the best technique. And yes OP some of them are tighter and annoying especially when new.

    Romeo 1 Pro

Romeo 1 Pro is supposedly starting to ship next month.
  15. Have any of these "R2" cut guns made it to the market yet?
