Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Here is the Browning Gold Piston in stock: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1005443670/browning-universal-piston-assembly-browning-gold-silver-winchester-sx2-sx3-fnh-slp-12-gauge With this piston my friends SLP runs flawlessly with Federal bulk packs and has for years. Good shotgun with light recoil when you run a Gold piston.
  2. 3.7 grains of Titegroup, 124 gr. Xtreme RN, at 1.15 OAL is what I run through a PSA 16" AR 9mm and a Rock Island Armory 2011. Runs great in both guns, 127 pf thru the pistol, which is close but i only use the RIA for 3 gun matches. I think it made around 140 pf for the rifle, can't remember for sure, I just remember it was well over minimum pf in the rifle.
  3. I traded for the gun and it was installed upon trade. I do really like it. Edges are nice and smooth. Sorry not sure what brand it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A couple pics of mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a Red River Tactical holster for a Sig P320 that is a very nice double sided Kydex holster. I just picked up a RIA 2011 for 3gun and ordered another RRT for it. Very nice quality, tension adjustable screws, multi colors, and a veteran owned company out of Clarksville, TN. Lots of options available at a very reasonable price. With shipping $62 this is the Sig holster. My 2011 holster will be the IDPA cut which is closer to the chamber than this holster. I wanted it longer since there is more running in 3gun with a holstered pistol. This was my USPSA setup. This is an example of the IDPA cut Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ran 60 of my reloads thru it today and it ran 100% with both of the new MG mags with TF bases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just an update on my new to me RIA TCM/ 9mm. I took it to the range a few weeks ago with the factory TCM mag and a couple new MecGar mags with the TF bases for the "fattie" magwell. Loaded the factory mag wouldn't seat even though the factory base has been modified a bit. So I went to the new MG's with the TF bases and it was a single shot pistol, both mags. Swapped the mag base to the TCM mag and it ran ok with my reloads but not with factory ammo oddly enough. The rounds were basically ramming into the non feed ramp base. So after watching the Atlas Gunworks videos on mag tuning and recoil spring tuning I found the problems I believe. I tuned my mags as instructed and the rounds come out of the mags with steeper trajectory, directly into the chamber. I also found the recoil spring was way too long and not letting the slide fully cycle. I trimmed the spring as directed and seems much better. Search Atlas Gunworks on YouTube for a wealth of info on the 2011. BTW the pliers used to tune your mags can be found at your local hardware store. They are simply chain pliers like these at Menards: https://www.menards.com/main/lighting-ceiling-fans/lighting-hardware-accessories/chains/patriot-lighting-reg-fixture-chain-pliers/90814/p-1444429534592-c-7519.htm?tid=-5884567820849154340&ipos=1 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Your correct, I asked him about it and he said it is good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Sure reads like couplers are outlawed now?? Just when I get my Taccom coupler running 100%. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I have a dedicated AR.22 with PSA blem lower and a CMMG upper with a Primary Arms micro dot. It has been flawless with thousands and thousands of rounds thru it. Literally zero malfunctions that I can remember. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks. Won’t be shooting many USPSA matches with it probably anyway. I picked up a PCC last year and it’s just a ton of fun to shoot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Interesting. I have the PCC Chamber barrel, a Gen 1/2 bolt, and Gen 1 lower. I really like my PSA, its a great value. I picked mine up around Labor Day 2017 for $499 I think. I still am grinning from ear to ear after each stage, 40+ rounds (ya I get a little trigger happy, and might put a few extra holes in a target. LOL) of blasting as fast as you can. Can't wait till March for the season to start around here.
  13. That makes sense. My local club never checks magazine length. How many rounds the RP9 with the TF bases hold? 23? I have shot a Glock 34 for years and used to 23 round capacity with TTI base pads so might be a good thing for a local match for an extra couple rounds.
  14. Will using the RP9 make them longer than the 140mm length for 3 gun &USPSA?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I ordered 2 base pads from the Taylor Freelance website last Friday. Got an email showing they shipped on Saturday. Got home Monday and they were in my mailbox. From WA to IN in a couple days via USPS. AMAZED!! The bases are really nice, fit well in the TF “fattie” magwell and with my well used spring held 21 rounds pretty easy.
