Eva was not put in as a lady. I did run my finger down the row looking for the check mark. We had already run four divisions down the prize table and had the final two going when i seen the mistake. Could i have handled it better YES , but that is water under the bridge now. Eva is a long time freind and she definately worked hard to get where she is. Changes to this years match: Yes I did say we would have walk throughs this year. Can I change my mind yes. The question of fairness comes up about walk throughs. Whats fair? person A gets there thursday and walks through at his leasure. What about someone who flys in on thursday night and is the first shooter on friday morning is that fair? If you do not come because of this issue thats ok, its your right to pick and choose which match you shoot. But remember if you have never been to our shoot before and you read some of the post on this site take it with a grain of salt, if we were that bad would we be one of the most popular matches? I doubt it. We will always strive to make this match the best it can be, and we do make mistakes sometimes. Lifes not fair we try to be. 1. You can look at the stages from behind the caution tape. 2. No one is allowed to walk the stages until there squad is scheduled to walk them. 3. Every staff member shooting on thursday will have to finish on thursday, period. 4. A plaque will be given for high overall Junior, Senior, Super Senior, Lady, for ALL six catagorys. 5. Plaques in class 1st through 3rd all catagorys depending on number of shooters. 6. This year we will ease up on the brain drain stages, keep in mind this is a championship match and I reserve the right to throw in a technical shot now and then. 7. Our largest prize table yet! We have already talked about changes for next year. it will most likely be a true lottery drawing with a 2 week min. opening for apps no fed-x needed. But still not everyone will get to shoot the match, and people will be still get #@%% off. We have had the area 2 match the last 5 or 6 years no other clubs wanted to do it that i know of. If someone else wanted it we would still put the match on the same way, its been working for 19 years now! The A2 MD

The announcement was made more than 30 days out when apps would be accepted. This match allways fills up fast and after last years match and the front site articles made this year fill up in 5 days. We can't hold spots for anyone it would not be fair, they have to be on first come first served format. We recieved apps that made it in time from all over the world so you can't say we did not get the word out. Congradulations to those who made it and Were sorry to those who did'nt.
